Seth Reyes · L&OD Leader · Context Systems Builder

All organizations run on collaboration. Shared context enables impactful work. I build, sustain, and grow systems that manage collaborative context.

I'm a learning and organizational development leader with 16+ years designing the capability ecosystems, governance, and AI-enabled systems that turn shared context into sharper decisions, personalized learning, and redesigned workflows.

The model

Sixteen years of enterprise learning work taught me one pattern: work creates knowledge context, and it's hidden behind personal and team boundaries.

Collaboration without shared context yields parallel work and superficial results. Teams constantly generate context: decisions, exceptions, conversations, signals, outcomes. Captured and governed instead of lost, it becomes the raw material for everything a capability function is asked to deliver.

Independent research points the same direction: nearly half of digital workers report struggling to find the information they need to do their jobs.Gartner Digital Worker Survey, 2023, reaffirmed in the 2024 survey.

SHARED CONTEXT DERIVED SYSTEMS ENABLED WORK
Work

Operations generate context

Every decision, exception, and outcome carries knowledge about how teams and the organization actually run.

Shared context

Captured, governed, managed at scale

The craft in the middle: making organizational knowledge trustworthy enough to build on, and shared enough to collaborate through.

Derived systems

Learning, workflows, decisions

Personalized learning, redesigned workflows, automation, and informed decisions, delivered back into the flow of work.

Work is the source and enabled work is the destination. The governance in the middle becomes a crafted enabler.

Proof of work

Built, shipped, and adopted at enterprise scale.

Twenty years of systems, each mapped to its place in the loop.

Context

LLM compliance evaluation system

Designed and built an LLM-based system that evaluates training content for regulatory compliance in a global financial services environment.

Context

Decision methodology, published at scale

Authored a decision-making methodology, published and used at scale for compliance-driven operational workflows.

Context

Learning governance, 1,000+ modules

Governed an extensive cross-disciplined content library of over 1,000 training modules across global markets: standardized and audit-ready.

Context

Versioned LLM interactive protocols

Runs versioned protocols governing AI-based collaboration. The working relationship becomes a managed system that can both be standardized, with appropriate personalization.

Context

AI enablement, organization-wide

Own an AI enablement program for a global operations function: leader workshops, a School of Applied AI, and a champion network that built 30+ proof-of-concept solutions with business AI tools. Creator-reported gains total thousands of hours a year.

Derived

Dynamic assignment engine

Improved dynamic learning assignment relevance by 40% through competency mapping and automated targeting.

Derived

Embedded, contextual learning

Delivered $1.1M in annual savings through a proof of concept that moved learning into the context where the work happens.

Derived

Learner-led development paths

Performance- and role-contextual competency mapping that connects business need to learning pathway: leaders direct development, learners drive it from their practical work.

Work

The builder thread, 20+ years

An escalation-tracking database built as a frontline agent. A performance insights tool adopted by thousands of agents across North America. Intake architecture, workflow automation, and now AI-assisted applications and APIs.

Work

CareerSignal Kit

An open-source starter kit for an evidence-governed job search: one source of truth, cited claims, automated lead scoring. A shared-context system in miniature.

How I work

Collaborative Calibration

You lead. AI adapts.

The same discipline at the smallest scale: a governed, shared context between you and AI. I authored this framework, run it daily as a versioned protocol, and share it with others. Five principles, where people own, drive and create in AI-informed workflows.

About

The person behind the systems.

I started in customer service. Every hard call was a system failing a person, and I wanted to fix both.

I still work that way. Find the problem nobody has named yet, build the bridge, and hand the credit to the team that carries it forward. I lead best from just behind the people doing the work, and I measure my success by theirs.

Long before AI, my favorite tool was context: asking the question someone was fully capable of answering, or laying out what I could see so others could make the better call. That habit is the root behavior I now use AI to amplify.

Away from work, I run technical stage for a sport show team: researching, building, and refining the systems that keep a live show running and a competition season on track. I knew almost nothing about show production when I started. Observation, experimentation, and feedback built things the team did not know it wanted until they saw what was possible. That method has never failed me, in any context.

My instincts were always to build. Legos got me started. Now the builds are information systems and frameworks, people driven and AI informed.

Career

Frontline to enterprise, in one unbroken thread.

16+years in enterprise learning & development
~10,000learners supported by the current function
4BPO sites stood up across global regions
20%+lift in learning engagement metrics
$1.1Mannual savings from an embedded-learning proof of concept

Customer service agent, then team leader, then the person coordinating outsourced partners across Asia, Europe, the US, and Latin America. That operational fluency never left; it became the foundation everything else is built on where leading through change, setting goals, organizing for success are more in focus.

As a parallel career arc, curriculum leadership in a regulated financial services environment, learning business partnership, and senior leadership of global learning programs. I led a learning function through a major operating model transformation, from a training factory into a strategic orchestration model, while sustaining scale and quality. Executive communication ran to SVP and CFO level.

Today I lead the learning function for a global customer operations organization: architecture, technology, analytics, and an AI enablement program, with end-to-end accountability for a 70+ person learning delivery team through ongoing organizational change. The function supports roughly 10,000 learners and 450 projects a year. And I still build: applications, APIs, automation, and the frameworks that govern how people and AI work together.
